The products are designed to support the bowel cleansing process while offering a better-tasting, easier-to-follow prep experience. Refer to your provider to confirm which kit to use.
What locations offer The Fresh Prep™?
The Fresh Prep™ can be purchased online or through participating physician offices. PEG 3350 kits and supportive products are available over the counter and may be eligible for HSA/FSA coverage. Sulfate Solution kits require a prescription.
Does The Fresh Prep™ replace my doctor’s instructions?
No. The Fresh Prep™ is designed to work with your provider’s prep instructions. Always follow the timing, dosing, and kit selection given by your healthcare team.
Why are electrolytes included?
Colonoscopy prep can cause fluid and electrolyte loss. The Fresh Prep® includes balanced electrolytes to support hydration while helping improve the taste of the prep experience.
Which Fresh Prep™ kit should I choose?
Always use the kit recommended by your healthcare provider. Different procedures and provider preferences may require different preparation products and instructions.
Can I use my HSA or FSA to purchase The Fresh Prep™?
Many Fresh Prep™ products may be eligible for HSA or FSA reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so please check with your benefits provider for details.
What if I have dietary restrictions or food sensitivities?
Fresh Prep™ products are formulated with a clean ingredient profile and are free from many common additives, artificial colors, and preservatives. Always review the ingredient list and consult your healthcare provider if you have specific allergies or dietary concerns.
What can I eat and drink before my procedure?
The day before your procedure, follow a clear liquid diet unless your provider instructs otherwise.
Allowed: Water, clear broth, electrolyte drinks, tea or coffee without cream, plain gelatin, ice pops, and other clear liquids without pulp.
Avoid: Red or blue drinks, dairy products, fruit, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, seeds, beans, and other high-fiber foods.
Always follow your provider's instructions, as dietary requirements may vary based on your procedure and medical history.
What if I have questions during my prep?
If you have questions about timing, dosing, medications, or procedure requirements, contact your healthcare provider directly. Your provider is the best source for guidance regarding your specific preparation instructions.
