Dr. Stephen Amannr
Dr. Stephen Amann is a board-certified gastroenterologist practicing with Digestive Health Specialists in Tupelo, Mississippi, with over 35 years of experience in the medical field. He is affiliated with North Mississippi Medical Center and has been with Digestive Health Specialists since 1999. Dr. Amann is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and has held numerous leadership positions, including President of the Mississippi GI Society and Chairman of the ACG Practice Management Committee.
Dr. Amann earned his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Florida, where he also served on the faculty. His areas of expertise include pancreatic disease, advanced endoscopy, and gastrointestinal cancer. He has published numerous research articles and book chapters on gastroenterology and pancreatic disease.
